Jesus himself could not without divine aid from His Father accomplish His work. He said on one occasion, “I can of mine own self do nothing, as I hear I judge and my judgment is just because I seek not my own will but the will of the Father who sent me.” [John 5:30.] And we, if it was necessary for Him, our Lord, to have divine assistance, will find it all the more important to receive His assistance. This is why the Church / Kingdom works as well as it does and will always be blessed with growth not seen anywhere else. Every man, woman and child taught, embrace correct teachings, seek guidance for their lives and those they have stewardship over. Speaking personally, but for many, it is also the reason why I have seen my own efforts (too often!) less effective than they could have been… because I have acted upon my own, when the Lord’s input would have me ‘create’ to a much better result… purely to His purposes.
Through seeking and following guidance given from above, and all resources given through ordained leaders and their inspired teachings, blessings are assured along the path— far beyond what I could achieve by my own mortal and often mistaken short sighted efforts. When losing myself following Christ’s example to bless others’ lives, the world, in my little corner, becomes a better place. Together, with Christ as our leader, we shake the very foundations of hell! kdm
