Would you have stronger faith? A gift to our Savior this Easter weekend
… that results in blessing others’ lives? In so doing our own lives are ‘increased’. Our life is ‘bigger’ because we become spiritually bigger and of more influence for good to those around us. Thus if we would be His, we choose to be like him in those outward qualities (and inward thoughts) that increase our faith and usefulness to his purposes. kdm

“My message to you tonight is that you can and must be an important part of His giving comfort to those who need comfort. You can play your part best if you know more of how He answers those prayers for help. Many are praying to Heavenly Father for relief, for help in carrying their burdens of grief, loneliness, and fear. Heavenly Father hears those prayers and understands their needs. He and His Beloved Son, the resurrected Jesus Christ, have promised help. Jesus Christ gave this sweet promise:“Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.“For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”Matthew 11:28-30

Proactive faith, the kind that builds our natures and makes of us ‘under-shepherds’ to our Master, Jesus Christ, comes when we take on more and more of his qualities. When we have an opportunity to ‘do good’, to lighten another’s burdens, not doing so is a limiting step. Often just doing for another once brings peace and blessings. In making a habit of it, we ‘cast our bread upon the waters and it returns to us buttered and jammed!’ for the Lord is all about strengthening those who look beyond self interests and become a blessing to others. kdm
