There are many ways for my future to happen or fail to happen… as I would want. It is the reason my present needs to be filled with discipline that creates a variety of options from which to choose. The excessive time and energy I put into useless pursuits, will leave me shallow and unfulfilled long term.
Wise decisions have me striving to draw closer to my maker. He knows my potential and how I can best manage life in a pleasing direction to him and me. A major part then: learning more to become my brother’s keeper. As my ‘bread is so cast upon the waters, it will come back buttered and jammed’… in pure and elevated growth towards Him. To know His voice, to feel his guidance often, even consistently, becomes the door to limitless learning, growth, joy… even eternal rewards. kdm
