“Life is always opening new and unexpected things for us. There is no monotony in living to him who walks… with open and perceptive eyes. The monotony of life, if life is monotonous to you, is in you, not in the world.”~Phillips Brooks
It’s interesting and fun watching children grow under the guidance of good parents and adults who allow them careful exploration. In many ways the path a child takes to adulthood can be positively so blessed. Letting go of such responsibility, preoccupied in self-interest pursuits has become a common dilemma… for children, their parents and therefore society’s future.
Where healthy proactive attention is absent, children suffer. A parent’s challenge and blessing embraces things that last in positive ways for their posterity. It’s a ‘front line’ duty that when neglected, we all suffer. kdm
