“…. As we have seen, the premortal plan for man includes his seduction by the telestial thought-world, the fabrication of a false self, the eventual discovery of its falseness, and his consequent waking up to a spiritually enlightened state under the power of God. As he pursues his path and develops spiritually, reality keeps reconfiguring him, and he learns and relearns that life is not what he once thought it was. As he awakens from the dream-like state of the mortal probation, he learns that he is designed to go through some shifts of a lower state of awareness to a higher. The scriptures refer often to the Mighty Change, a transformation in which the old self is consumed finally by the Lord, and a new creature is revealed.

….  “We see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in;… and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth”(Alma 26:37). According to the Lord’s timetable each of the Father’s children will be offered the full truth.” ~ Light in the Wilderness, M. Catherine Thomas p.198, Digital Legent Press 2010

It doesn’t take long to ‘drift out of the energy’ of such statements. All it takes is a little neglect of any habits which sustain energy from above, which He is so willing to impart (Includes habits of worship, including heartfelt, sincere Sunday worship) . When I keep those ‘delicious’ habits of closeness to him, all is better. I’ve been too busy of late to take care of important things… to allow him to edify / strengthen me and those who might be affected upwardly, should I have been more attentive and disciplined. Elevated thinking is a lesson I must learn consistently. Such keeps me aware of my own ‘stuff’ that doesn’t work for God’s more eternal purposes!   kdm
