Elder Henry B. Eyring, now a member of The First Presidency of the Church has said; “We may know that the warning is from the Lord (when) the law of witnesses, authorized witnesses, has been invoked. When the words of prophets seems repetitive, that should rivet our attention and fill our hearts with gratitude to live in such a blessed time. see ‘Finding Safety in Counsel’ (https://www.lds.org/ensign/1997/05/finding-safety-in-counsel?lang=eng)

In the wee hours of this morning, I discovered again how repetition from those we sustain as Prophet’s, Seers, and Revelators follow the pattern taught by the above statement. Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf a year after the message I shared from him in my last post (weak things strong), taught again in this June 2016 Ensign, that important message: see ‘Our Father, Our Mentor’ (https://www.lds.org/ensign/2016/06/our-father-our-mentor?lang=eng). Increased clarity comes through his different approach meaning, when I seek as a little child, I open myself up to a stronger assimilation of God’s truths!… Why would I not want to do that?  Those who might say, “Oh yea, I’ve heard it all before”, and then move on under the worldly pretense of looking for something new and different are the ones who really miss out. When I choose to be a humble seeker of truth, I choose also to seek with ‘spiritual vulnerability’… that is best satisfied by following God ordained truth given so readily by those He has chosen: The First Presidency, The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, The Quorums of the Seventy, other General Authorities, and on local levels, Stake Presidencies, Bishops… and inspirational messages from the pulpit.  I find it all ‘delicious’ to my spirit through increased habits that create such vulnerability. The restored Gospel of Jesus Christ (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) is ‘saturated’ with such (sweet to the soul) opportunities!  kdm
