“You cannot run away from a weakness.  You must sometime fight it out or perish.  And if it be so, why not now and where you stand?” ~Robert Louis Stevenson

Weaknesses may clutter my life slowing/stopping my progress toward worthwhile goals.  When I focus first upon the weaknesses that slow spiritual progress (seeking a closer relationship with Christ who can help me more easily overcome), I am rewarded with greater spiritual power. By putting my life in order spiritually, I will find my days less cluttered, my thinking more clear and I will become more engaged in worthwhile, quality pursuits. When faithful… applying principles of faith, I never have to ‘fight it out’ alone. At times it may be difficult, but I need never perish because ‘Christ is in my corner’.  kdm     revised & re-posted from 6.26.15
