We daily craft the direction of our lives through tools the Lord has given; prayer, scriptures, the Spirit, others examples… either friendly or not to our Creator’s purpose for placing us here. We cannot expect to return to God when life, and the examples we choose to follow are not in harmony with His purposes for us. We would feel really, REALLY uncomfortable and gladly rejoin those we became most comfortable with in this life… even the damned. Damned is an interesting word… The same way a concrete dam stops movement of water, so we daily make choices limiting or in favor of our eternal possibilities. The ‘Plan’ was never to be ‘go it alone’ in purpose; happily ‘ye lift me and me lift thee and we’ll both ascend together’! kdm
