“If we would only testify to the truth as we see it, it would turn out at once that there are hundreds, thousands, and even millions of (others) just as we are, who see the truth as we do, are afraid as we are of seeming to be singular (alone) by confessing it, and are only waiting, again as we are, for someone to proclaim it.”~Leo Tolstoi (within parenthesis added)
So much of what is published in this blog comes from my own ‘self conviction’ to be a voice for truth and principle (for Christ) in daily interaction with others. I am better than I have been, but still (always?) in that space of needing improvement. When working on such, I choose to ‘take the high road’ and not listen to the to negative self talk or influence of the adversary; but to press forward in voicing truth, in and out of religious context, and thus become a greater friend to/example under Christ himself.
Anytime we are a voice for truth and correct principle the ‘honest in heart’ take note and draw closer to Christ also. In that sense who cares what the ‘opposition’ thinks? kdm
