“What a new face courage puts on everything.”~Ralph Waldo Emerson

And courage comes best because of faith… when we trust (have faith) that the Lord is aware of us, our circumstances and challenges, that whatever the outcome, even when we think He could have done so much more, He is the Captain of our soul (and so needs not answer our whys and wherefores).  There is certain growth in this process to greater courage and strength, so that our faith and usefulness to His purposes increases as does our own overall peace of mind.

Troubled at times because we feel the heavens are closed, we fail to get a response? Do we say, pray for the wrong thing(s) or have we fallen out of harmony with God’s will/plan for us? Sometimes they are just closed to facilitate deeper introspection, faith and prayer.  (Click the link below on this.) Either way lots of knee work (because prayer is a form of work) will return that closeness, enhanced with a ‘new face of courage’… again and again the process, the discipline increases faith with ‘a new face of courage’ each time.   kdm
