Our choices now become the pattern of our destiny, and therefore shadow what will come beyond this life. These speak of the goal of returning to our Heavenly Parents and Jesus Christ to live with them for eternity and partake of all they have. It is the sweetest of all paths since it leads to development of our greatest potential and eternal increase.
Many choose not to ‘go there’ through their daily actions that, over time, become habits of bondage. Negative in their personal impact, even fighting against God, such a course troubles their spirit and, over time, becomes a hell to them.
There are also those somewhere in-between – not with God and without increase; perhaps the same self-interest routines endlessly. They will know they could have had, been so much more!
Our time here is but a ‘drop in the ocean’ of our eternity, but is long enough to clearly indicate whose company we prefer… Heavenly Parents, our Savior Jesus Christ, and eternal increase or an eternity with those comfortable to neither live God’s plan or actually fight against Him (a fight forever lost!). kdm
