‘As long as you believe it, you’ll live that belief.’ A comment from my son, Ben, in response to calling myself ‘electronically challenged’ in learning a new computer operating system (googlecrome).

At first glance, I don’t believe I have made a habit out of creating such a negative approach, but then who am I kidding… ANYTIME I create such beliefs, I’m in ‘alignment’ with the adversary. My capacity for change and growth is endless, miraculous in potential under Christ, only limited by my belief system… carefully ‘bought’ over years of real and perceived clashes, abuses life throws in my way. Given the choice, I have accepted Satan’s lies as a convenient, comfortable, cop-out. Positive change and a better reality comes when I admit I manage myself poorly when compared to the way He could manage me. Turning ownership of myself over to one who has such infinite skill, is a wise choice indeed. The only thing to remember = vulnerability to His counsel often, through the multiple ways he’s provided; scriptures and inspired sources (teachings of Apostles and Prophets), sincere prayer (filled with gratitude, then asking the right things in the right way), becoming more patient with self and others (leads to a more quiet, spiritually receptive demeanor through which His answers come). Thus I choose His counsel over ‘worldly ways and wisdom’.     kdm  re-posted and edited from 3.23.2015
