The following arises out of my morning’s scripture study which included Helaman 3:27-30, 35 .

In followup to the last post ‘mortality’s curriculum’, one could ask ‘how is it done’? How do we stay committed to a life consistent with Heavenly Father’s plan for us, paid for through the blood of His Son?… a price we cannot fathom and therefore we will never really appreciate?

It is done one day at a time, sometimes one hour or minute at a time when life’s circumstances (and our own blunders) make it really hard (or the adversary tries to ‘win us’ through his evil, divisive agenda). We instead, value/seek a consistent, heart felt, unshakable commitment (faith in Christ), in those things that when done, invite Christ into our lives… doing what we feel coming to us when we pray and read scripture. (In this we learn to become patient with our self and others. The process can be so slow we have trouble noticing any progress.)

If we feel nothing, we never give up because He will never give up on us! Seeming silence from him is a tool the Lord uses to increase our capacity, commitment, and strength to do what He wants for us.  Were we to see the whole picture of our journey and the resulting reward from Him, we would have no spiritual growth (or initiative?) through faith, an essential element for eternal possibilities.   kdm
