“We read in Proverbs the admonition, “Ponder the path of thy feet.”(Proverbs 4:26) As we do, we will have the faith, even the desire, to walk the path which Jesus walked. We will have no doubt that we are on the path which our Father would have us follow. The Savior’s example provides a framework for everything that we do, and His words provide and unfailing guide. His path will take us safely home.”
~President Thomas S. Monson, Ensign, Nov 2014 p.88
There is danger in our modern culture and society: The more intense our interest, even addiction to worldly hero’s and distractions… sports and movie stars, internet, social media, you name it, the greater is their power to harm us. Often what starts off as a ‘little thing’ can lead us away from the path we once knew had the sweetest, greatest potential for self and family. The best approach, more effective with fasting, is simply to return to walk with Him again. He always welcomes us as with open arms. We should do our self a favor and run to that embrace, feel again, revel it! “Ponder the path of thy feet…!” kdm
