“The storms will still beat at our doors from time to time, for they are an inescapable part of our existence in mortality. We, however, will be far better equipped to deal with them, to learn from them, and to overcome them if we have the gospel at our core and the love of the Savior in our hearts. The prophet Isiah declared, “The work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever.”(Isiah 32:17)

I have grown, over the last while, to a new level of peace and purpose. Things no longer nag me (the adversary’s voice clouding Christ’s influence upon me). There’s more healthy contentment, more confidence for handling life the way Christ would want for the inevitable storms ahead. Christ continues to build a better me. I want him to, and act consistently upon His suggestions from prayer, from our living Prophet (above quote), from other leaders.   kdm
