Many are praying to Heavenly Father for relief, for help in carrying their burdens of grief, loneliness, and fear. Heavenly Father hears those prayers and understands their needs. He and His Beloved Son, the resurrected Jesus Christ, have promised help. Jesus Christ gave this sweet promise:“Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.“For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”Matthew 11:28-30

Proactive faith, the kind that builds our natures and makes of us ‘under-shepherds’ to our Master, Jesus Christ, comes when we take on more and more of his qualities. When we have an opportunity to ‘do good’, to lighten another’s burdens, not doing so is a limiting step. Often just doing for anther once brings peace and blessings. In making a habit of it, we ‘cast our bread upon the waters and it returns to us buttered and jammed!’ for the Lord is all about strengthening those who look beyond self interests and become a blessing to others. kdm
