Again, looking to our Savior’s example when he was here upon the Earth, he had no ‘habitual severity of opinion’ directed at others even when such was constantly directed towards him. In every instance he lived a life of self-discipline and patience, including clearing the corruption from his Temple at Jerusalem- even there, with His wrath public, He was controlled. (Should we not strive to clear this and all corruption form the temple that houses our spirit?) He embraced ‘tenderness and delicacy’ expressed in ways that build all who trust in and strive to be like him. Because he is our Exemplar, our own path to this and all His refined qualities is change through quiet discipline… best achieved when we act and feel as though he is our unseen constant companion, for he surly can be when we ask/let him. kdm
