Going out into the world daily exposes us to a many people under a variety of circumstances and challenges. In our evaluation (judging) of others we may be preoccupied, carrying our judgments too far, not giving the benefit of the doubt, or giving ‘space’ for a multitude of differences. All the more important to have the Spirit close, to do the homework friendly to the Spirit; prayer, study of scripture, doing those things that lift the soul. We can more correctly evaluate who to trust and associate with and who we should keep at a distance. Also, through close association of the Spirit we know what to put in place for our own protection and the protection of those we love. kdm
