The time that precedes our Lord’s second coming will become increasingly difficult.  Only those who have a good relationship with Jesus Christ will be able to endure the challenges ahead, and come out stronger. He taught what we must do before He comes in his glory and then said, “one shall be taken and the other left” (Matt 24: 41 40-51). That is to occur after much tribulation, even for the righteous!

Those challenges to precede His second coming will be excruciating beyond what we can imagine.  Given current events, the sooner we embrace his ways, the greater is his protecting influence upon us and upon our loved ones, as they follow our example and commitment to the Lord. Habits/disciplines that bless us with His protection should be in place long before the ‘excruciating’ happens… it’s that simple!

In order for us to receive blessings from above and draw closer to our Savior, we must be willing to give Him commitments, sacrifice worldly habits that oppose His influence upon us. In so doing we draw closer to him. Our leaders are asking of us a shift of focus; ‘To give the Sabbath back to the Lord’.  That simple request has profound purpose and direction as we humbly, earnestly embrace it.  I pray we will all take seriously counsel given that sustains Sunday as the Lord’s day.  One such talk/sermon, ‘The Sabbath is a Delight’ was given Sunday afternoon, April 5, 2015 by Elder Russell M. Nelson, of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Download it, prayerfully read or listen to it, mark the parts the Spirit says are particularly relevant to you and live by those suggestions!  It will be challenging, changing up to a new paradigm, and the adversary will definitely throw obstacles in your path.  Resolve to push past ‘his stuff’ to the light and peace Christ can give… a much happier way to live.   k
