“If a thing be right, it can be done: if wrong, it can be done without.” ~Author Unknown
When faced with something wrong, we often rationalize that ‘just once’ won’t hurt. However, in doing something against our conscience, we ‘open a door’ and it becomes an opportunity to open it again, and again. A new bad habit can form that we can ‘take to the next degenerative level’ and from which we have increasing difficulty to become free again. When others are affected by such choices, they may choose a similar path and never return. We become stronger and less cluttered in our decisions when we consistently make right choices. kdm
