We are also told that faith is the opposite of mortal, worldly fear. It is critical for me to develop the godly fear spoken of by Elder Bednar because it is a motivator towards my long term relationship with God and brings eternal rewards and increase. Godly fear developed, as spoken by Elder Bednar, brings me peace of mind, strength in hard times, sense and direction in a world where many fight against God or believe him to be of little potential consequence. kdm (re-posted from 5.22.15)
