I spoke with a gentleman yesterday. In his 80’s, he had wisdom of dacades in his conversation and approach to life. When young he heard a voice as clear as we were then speaking… calling him. He said back, “I like the way my life is, I’m into myself, independant…. What you are suggesting, just isn’t me. How would I make such changes.” He heard in response, “come with me and I will teach you.” He’s listened and been taught ever since, and his life has been richly blessed. Always looking outward and blessing others’ lives, such are not ‘little’ because they are constantly growing in ways that really count. There is real value of eternal worth in such an approach, and we can start at any time and let the Lord’s voice teach us. kdm
