A common difficulty for those on the path of following and embracing Christ’s example is feeling defeated because it all seems so overwhelming. Satan revels in this opportunity to defeat us and make us his. We are in a lifetime learning process and the most stable growth is slow and carefully sought, a ‘spiritual baby step at a time’.
