These truths are something all men and boys who desire meaningful relationships with women and girls might consider seriously for any setting. I am reminded of what the Prophet Joseph Smith Jr. said almost two centuries ago. He was chided by a neighbor for doing household chores his wife could have done, saying “Brother Joseph, my wife does much more hard work than does your wife.” To which the Prophet responded, “… if a man cannot learn in this life to appreciate a wife and do his duty by her, in properly taking care of her, he need not expect to (have her) in the hereafter.”~The Teachings of Joseph Smith, Bookcraft 1997 p.412
