‘Living it’ is proactive; when we are ‘up and doing’ , we are on a path of growth for eternal purpose. The ‘common man or woman’ who resists change, becomes stuck, stagnant in their comfort zone. Zest and vitality for life are also stuck. When we are asked to do something out of our comfort zone and we relish the challenge with energy greater than expected, the Lord can increase us to new levels of growth and self discipline. That’s what were here for! The happiest people I know are those who are preparing for or have served a mission for the Lord and kept the good habits / disciplines they learned. Yet, any place where He can teach us to reach outside narrowed vision, to love and serve others instead, is love of truth. For those who feel a right to the ‘couch potato habit or life is all about me’, their vision narrows… along with their eternal opportunities! kdm
