I’ve learned this lesson over these past months from a number of sources. I understand, as I never have, a deeper appreciation of ‘the Dues’. Through reading and studying the right things, then praying to know the right questions to ask, the answers are revealed. When I sincerely seek them (with real intent to do what is revealed, see Moroni 10:4), I pay the Dues and embrace what I’ve been told. The ‘right things’ to pray for are anything which makes the path to my Savior more clear and inviting. They include removing the many false (sometimes very ‘comfortable’… though NOT true) beliefs about myself and others. Removing the false and negative engages a true spirit of giving…which is always for the right reason. kdm
