We can and should provide spontaneous acts of service, but some will leach everything and then move on to do it again. We can lean upon God. The more faithful we are in doing so, the greater is our independence from entitlement thinking that limits us and leads to burdening others. He teaches us how to interact; how to have patient, loving stewardships (over family, loved ones… even workplace challenges). His council often comes through others who are in tune with our God. The more we put our lives in tune with His will and thus apply His correct principles, the greater our self reliance to bless the lives of others.
