“One important dimension of loving-kindness is forgiveness. Our generosity, forgetfulness, and forgiveness can often be the equivalent of an “emancipation proclamation” for someone who has erred, as with the “breath of kindness,” we “blow the chaff away.”~Neal A. Maxwell

For fellow travelers who have sinned, then repented and sought personal change, we assist them greatly when we forgive and forget… completely. Anything short of that limits them from our full fellowship and real forgiveness, and limits us (damns us – as an earthen dam stops water) when we ‘cling to the chaff’ of their mistakes and thus become increasingly narrow-minded our self… and may we always remember that we are all sinners in need of change and forgiveness!  kdm
