“Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” ~ Old Testament, Ecclesiastes 12:13

We are in an age when most whom we associate with daily, simply say, “Why should I? What ‘fun’ is there in that approach to life?” They fail to realize that they didn’t simply flare into existence at birth, nor will they be forever ‘erased’ from existence at death.  Our life in this world is but a single drop in the ‘ocean of eternity’… and it the most CRITICAL drop at that.  We live in a world where order gives us freedom to choose.  Even when political order is forced upon many, it is better than no order at all.  Should we choose to respect order and increase it in our daily lives by doing what is ‘friendly’ to God’s purposes for us, we choose greater peace and fulfillment here and in the life forever after.  Heaven is a place of total order and peace under God.  Hell is a place of endless, evil anarchy (for, over time, that is the price of no discipline… failing to keep the commandments). That is scary indeed!  There are those who choose to believe that neither exist. Also scary. The scriptures are full of counsel on how to have a life full of peace and purpose… and examples of the opposite approach.  kdm
